About

Meet Erica Martin, LCSW

Founder & Owner | Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Licensed in Oregon, Washington & Texas

Hi, I’m Erica B. Martin, LCSW, founder and owner of Compassionate Therapy LLC. I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, chronic illness adjustment, and life transitions.

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Every person brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals, so I tailor treatment to your individual needs.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and EMDR-informed techniques when appropriate.

My approach is to meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your strengths, values, and personal goals.

Whether you’re facing a difficult transition, working through past trauma, strengthening a relationship, or seeking healthier ways to manage life’s challenges, I’m committed to helping you build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your confidence, build resilience, and help you move forward with greater clarity, hope, and purpose.

I appreciated the therapist’s professionalism and approach. While I didn’t always feel a strong connection in every session, the experience was still helpful and provided valuable insight. It wasn’t the perfect fit for me personally, but I appreciate the care and support I received.

“Progress Takes Time, But It’s Worth It”

“Therapy didn’t give me instant answers — and that’s okay. What it gave me was a space to reflect, question, and gradually grow. I’m still on my journey, but I’ve gained tools that make each day a bit easier.”
