Hi, I’m Erica B. Martin, LCSW, founder and owner of Compassionate Therapy LLC. I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, chronic illness adjustment, and life transitions.
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Every person brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals, so I tailor treatment to your individual needs.
I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and EMDR-informed techniques when appropriate.
My approach is to meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your strengths, values, and personal goals.
Whether you’re facing a difficult transition, working through past trauma, strengthening a relationship, or seeking healthier ways to manage life’s challenges, I’m committed to helping you build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your confidence, build resilience, and help you move forward with greater clarity, hope, and purpose.
My Approach::
I integrate CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
